Our course fully prepares you to become a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). Upon completion of this course, you will take a national certification exam.
The Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE)
The Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE) to obtain your Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license is offered through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
- PTCB certification is preferred among the nation’s largest employers, and in certain practice settings, it is required.
- The Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE) is made up of four knowledge-based areas that are consistent across all practices settings.
- The PTCB has certified over 700.000 pharmacy technicians.
- The PTCB is nationally recognized in all 50 states.
